Harvest Festival 2007 &
Casa Cassara Tasting Room Open House
Finally, we have our Tasting Room open,
so, in addition to our booth at the Harvest Festival at Rancho Sisquoc we ran an open house at the Tasting Room that included a BBQ on Sunday ... our first year to be able to participate in the extended functions of the Celebration of Harvest with extended discounts on wine at the tasting room during the four day event.
Well, this year was another of those with potentially horrible weather including rain that magically cleared as we moved into the festival at Rancho Sisquoc with a day that turned utterly beautiful. And, while we were once again back in the Silverado to drive way out into the cow pasture parking with its ground squirrel mounds and cow plops, it was simply glorious. And for the first time in memory, Alicia did not set up the booth or pour ... she was back at the tasting room handling folks who didn't manage to get tickets to this sold out event.

As always there was plenty of family to pour ... four generations ... as well as fine food and entertainment.
